CASSEROLE DISH WITH BETTER THAN SEX CAKE

INGREDIENTS

  • Devil’s Food Chocolate cake mix plus ingredients listed on the cake box
  • 1 14- ounce can sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 16- ounce jar caramel sauce
  • 1 8- ounce tub of Cool Whip
  • 4 Heath bars chopped

INSTRUCTIONS

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Prepare a 9x13 dish by spraying with nonstick spray.
  • Make the cake according to the package directions for a 9x13 cake.
  • When the cake is done baking use the round handle end of a wooden spoon and poke holes all throughout the cake.
  • Pour the sweetened condensed milk all over the top of the cake and spread it out.
  • Then pour the caramel sauce over the top of the cake and spread it out.
  • Refrigerate the cake for at least two hours.
  • Spread the Cool Whip on top of the cooled cake and sprinkle with chopped Heath bars.

DIY Snowy Mason Jar Luminaries

These  DIY Christmas Tea Light Holders  are incredibly easy to make using unexpected items: epsom salt and glitter. They are a beautiful holiday display for flameless tea lights, or could even be used as a vase for holiday garland or flowers. In fact, I think that this  easy Christmas project  is charming enough to give away as gifts or even to sell at a fundraiser. They really are magical when lit up at night! The BFG Paper Plate Dream Catchers Craft

One of my favorite childhood books is now a Disney movie –  The BFG . Months ago in preparation for the movie coming out, I bought my daughter a  Roald Dahl collection . (A summer reading list from mom.) And I was thrilled for her excitement as she too fell in love with  The BFG  and  Matilda . She can’t stop talking about seeing the movie. Inspired by the story we decided to make  The BFG paper plate dream catchers . If your kids haven’t read the books, I highly recommend the whole collection. ( Matilda  and  James and the Giant Peach  are also must reads!) I always like to read the book before I see the movie, and new Disney version of  The BFG  is fabulous.
